As a writer and music artist it's something mysterious how you can't force it or stop it when It's ready to arrive. What I mean by this is that when inspiration hits something just comes over me and I have to grab a guitar or sit at the piano and just let it flow through me. And that's truly it; I don't take credit for any of it. I thank the Universe for letting me be a conduit where the water in the river. it just flows to and through me. Immediately when this inspiration comes , and nearly one hundred per cent of the time the entire song unravels at once. I grab my phone and hit record because there's just not time to turn on my Avid Pro Tools and set up mics and inputs. I get a quick print of a model I can come back to. Now truly there are times when only a fragment of a composition comes to me and it will require many revisits before I start laying it down in the studio. Sometimes years.
