THROUGHOUT THE SEVENTIES AND INTO THE NINETIES I MADE MY LIVING AS A MUSICIAN AND SINGER. I FOUND MYSELF GETTING INVOLVED WITHRECORDING ENGINEERING, TELEVISION PRODUCTION AND EVENTUALLY OWNINGA SMALL STUDIO WHERE OVER THE YEARS I HAVE WRITTEN SOME 200 SONGS.

Still Have that guitar!
My very first electric at age 13
This " no name " guitar was probably the worst in the world but at the time when I saw that baby in the window of Lohr's Music in downtown Centralia Washington I just had to have it. Twenty-five dollars was a lot for a kid in those days but the amp nearly broke me at $29.50 ! Still hanging on my studio wall this guitar was used in the artwork and album cover of my 2009 release " ROAD OF DREAMS ".

FIELD STREET
we had a garage band!
In the photo to the right is my brother Bob, who already played in school band long before we got guitars so he knew a lot about music and theory. I on the other hand was being trained for seven years as a singer and dancer, chasing a career on Broadway but when I got bit by the Rock N Roll bug I traded in my tap shoes and makeup for guitars and loud amplifiers!
Bobby unfortunately left this world tragically not long after this picture was taken of us smiling, happily making music together. His passing would serve to be a profound sense of purpose and direction for me and I became very serious about playing music and being a professional Artist. There is not a song I play, not even a note where I don't think back about those crazy teen-age boys playing in their little band in mom and dad's garage to a yard full of kids from the neighborhood. Sometimes at least one patrol car!
