2026 few gigs so why?

Most years I have really hustled to book shows and stay competitive but this year, actually going back to 24' my family and I embarked on a " side project "  that has been life changing and time consuming.  I wanted to play but I knew that time would be an issue. So I booked one car show , a select number of private events , a big jam in Palm Springs and Las Vegas and of course the incredible Spanish Ballroom double header with Backlash from Olympia.  Recently we put on a back yard Birthday concert bash for a dear friend.  Just few days later a Jam session in a club with a producer friend from Nashville.

I HAVE BEEN AWARE OF RAFAEL'S WORK IN THE NORTHWEST BLUES SCENE FOR OVER FIFTEEN YEARS ONLY BECOMEING AQUAINTED IN THE LAST FIVE OR SO THORUGH COMPETITIONS AND PERFORMANCE VENUES.   THERE MAY BE MANY TALENTED SINGER-SONGWRITERS WHO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT WELL AND CAN SING AS WELL AS RAFAEL BUT IT IS RARE TO KNOW OF SUCH RAW PASSIONATE TALENT THAT ALSO OWNS THE ILLUSIVE " FACTOR " WHICH IS THAT STAR QUALITY THAT CAN ENDURE ALL TRENDS AND STILL SET NEW ONES OF ONES OWN.  RAFAEL HAS ALL OF THAT. Tranquilino's work goes beyond being a great Blues player; he is a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist producer and engineer. 

Everywhere he plays he is kind to everyone and never exudes an ego, rather fine sense of confidence.  He works at his craft and pushes the limits to the past achievements and the last riff.
